Composite Materials for excellent Strength and Durability

The special Composite Materials used in the Cargobox feature excellent Strength and Durability. The pilot phase will have to show the average number of trips a Cargobox is able to travel. Another feature of the Composite Materials is its relatively low weight compared to its strength.

Air Cargo Industry standard dimensions

With fully expanded outer dimensions of 122 x 104 x 160 cm (L X W X H), six units fit precisely on the most commonly used standard PMC 125" x 96" air cargo pallet. The dimensions have been chosen taking the volume envelope of the most common wide body cargo bay into account. Other configurations are possible to fit different cargo bays.

Capacity (750 kg) / Tare Weight (36,5 kg)

The tare weight of a Cargobox is only a remarkable 36,5 kg. This is the result of using advanced and lightweight, but strong materials. With a capacity of 750 kg the Capacity / Tare Weight ratio is 20,5.

Stackability enables Lower Deck/Main Deck Solutions

A full expanded Cargobox has a height of 160cm, fitting exactly in the most common wide body cargo bay. A half expanded Cargobox has a height of 80 cm. In addition two Cargoboxes, either full or half expanded, can be stacked. So configurations of 80 cm, 160 cm and 240 cm are possible and allow efficient usage of different cargo bays.
